Plot

Raj Malhotra (Shah Rukh Khan) is a carefree young man living in London with his friends. He falls in love with Simran Singh (Kajol), a beautiful and intelligent Indian girl who is also born and raised in London. Simran’s family is traditional and plans to arrange her marriage to a wealthy NRI (Non-Resident Indian) family in India.
